I started this brand because I was tired of feeling like I had to follow whatever trend was taking over activewear.
The gym has genuinely changed my life. It became a place where I felt stronger, more confident, and more like myself. But I started to realize that the clothes I was wearing didn't always make me feel that way.
Everything was cropped. Everything was super tight. Everything had a scrunch bum. Everything started looking like a copy of the last. And honestly, I felt uncomfortable wearing them.
At some point, I felt convicted about what I was wearing and realized I wanted my clothes to reflect the way I actually wanted to feel: comfortable, confident, and completely myself.
I've always loved the look of the early 2000s. The long tops, relaxed silhouettes, and effortless feeling. But when I started looking for that same feeling in activewear, I couldn't find it.
I would find vintage pieces while thrifting, but they often felt dated or tacky. I wanted to take the essence of it and make it feel fresh.
So I decided to create the activewear I couldn't find.
I DON'T WANT TO CREATE ANOTHER ACTIVEWEAR BRAND.
Vynuvelle was created around the idea of becoming unapologetically yourself. (vie nouvelle meaning "new life" in french). Vynuvelle represents a fresh start. A new way of looking at activewear, without feeling pressured to follow whatever trend comes next.
The gym gave me a new chapter in my own life, and Vynuvelle is my way of bringing that feeling into what I wear.
This is the activewear I couldn't find.
So I made it.
